Over 8 years ago we purchased our very first backyard chickens. Although I (Jason) had been raised with chickens, I hadn’t been around them since I was a kid. We quickly fell in love with our hens and let me tell you….. chicken math is real ya’ll. Through the years of raising these chickens and getting more and seeing our success AND our failures we’ve learned a lot about what we should have done at the beginning that would have made our journey a lot smoother. We desire to take these learning experiences and teach others about raising backyard chickens.
